Parties respond to transport surveyAll the major parties responded to the Metropolitan Transport Forum survey of public transport commitments in Melbourne's North East.
MTF Chair, Cr Janet Rice, said that public transport was shaping up as a crucial issue in the state poll.
We asked the major parties to say where they stood on proposals to improve public transport contained in a major study commissioned by local councils in Melbourne's.
The survey included crucial commitments like more frequent rail services, extensions to the Epping Line and the new Doncaster branch line.
Cr Rice said the responses spoke for themselves and she urged voters to read the responses in full
